In November several delegation visits took place: We welcomed professors, students, companies and politicians from different countries and enjoyed the exchange of knowledge, contacts and friendly words.
On November 7th, we welcomed professors and students from Kobe University in Japan and introduced Medical Valley EMN e. V. through various projects and the Digital Health Innovation Platform. The conversations focused on the development of a healthcare ecosystem through successful collaboration between industry, universities and clinics. The MRI production facility of Siemens Healthineers was also visited, where everyone gained exciting insights into the history and development of MRI technology.
One day later, on November 8th, representatives of the Hsinchu Science Park in Taiwan visited us and we were pleased to introduce Medical Valley EMN e. V., Medical Valley Solutions GmbH and FastTrack MedTech to them. Companies from Hsinchu Science Park gave presentations about their business and technologies and shared their individual support needs. In addition to innovative solutions for robot-assisted surgery, AI-assisted ultrasound diagnostics and hearing aids, their repertoire also included handheld X-ray solutions. We discussed market access strategies in Germany in general and support options from Medical Valley.
On November 27th, Swiss companies explored the various life sciences regions in Bavaria on the topic “Switzerland – Deep Dive Journey Life Sciences”. We introduced them to Medical Valley EMN e. V. and Interherence as well as BreatheAssist gave presentations on their companies and projects. There was also a live demonstration by BreatheAssist on site in their laboratory before we went to dinner all together at the Heilig Geist Spital in Nuremberg.
Also on November 27th, the visit of Kunshan Technology Park to Medical Valley GmbH strengthened the alliance between the two organizations and fostered the Sino-German MedTech deal flow. During the event, Marco Wendel presented the ecosystem of Medical Valley EMN e. V. and various German companies showcased their innovative solutions. Opportunities for cooperation were discussed and several memoranda of understanding were signed to ensure further cooperations.
With so many positive encounters and prospects for cooperation, we look forward to the coming years with confidence. The valuable international exchange is a main focus of Medical Valley EMN e. V. and we take pleasure in further worldwide cooperations and will be open to inquiries.
