Ajambow GmbH

Ajambow delivers science-based, rhythmic training for therapy, prevention, and innovative care pathways in rehabilitation and health.

Ajambow is an innovative movement concept, scientifically developed and practically tested. At its core is a rhythm-based training using a water-filled exercise device that specifically activates the core, shoulders, and back. EMG measurements have validated the movement patterns, showing high muscular activation with low perceived exertion.

The rhythm and sensory feedback of the device enhance intrinsic motivation – a key factor for long-term adherence and effectiveness. Participants experience the training not as a traditional “workout,” but as flowing, enjoyable movement. This opens new possibilities for prevention, therapy, and health promotion.

Ajambow is already being used in physiotherapy practices, rehabilitation clinics, sports clubs, and fitness studios. It is suitable for both group and individual sessions and can also be delivered digitally through video-based content. The training is easy to learn, joint-friendly, and appeals to a broad range of people – from back pain patients to health-conscious beginners.

In addition to documented orthopedic benefits (e.g., for back pain, posture issues, targeted activation of the deep spinal muscles), there are initial indications that Ajambow may also be beneficial for neurological conditions like Parkinson’s or stress-related disorders such as Long/Post-COVID. These effects are currently being observed and systematically assessed.

For healthcare partners, Ajambow offers potential for pilot projects, preventive programs, and structured movement interventions. It is certified under §20 SGB V (German Social Code for preventive health services), and further evaluations are planned.
