We are a young start-up based in Erlangen, led by founders Sybilla Mahfoud and Jonas Siedentop. Together, we have been developing an app-based everyday helper for people with dietary restrictions and allergies since 2024. Our database of customizable recipes is supplemented by articles, interesting facts, and tips and tricks on the topic of nutrition for people with food restrictions and allergies.
Our Yumkin app is a digital companion for those affected. Whether due to allergies, intolerances, or other illnesses, Yumkin shows how recipes can be adapted with suitable substitutes to replace ingredients that are incompatible with the user’s diet without compromising on taste. Tasty, foolproof, and tailored to your individual needs. This allows users to prepare exactly the dishes they want without having to worry about compatibility. Yumkin provides the customized information users need for carefree everyday planning: exactly when and where it is needed. Scientifically sound and designed to ensure that desired dishes work.
