Erlangen turned into a buzzing ideas laboratory from 6 to 8 November as more than 170 participants gathered for the Healthcare Hackathon Bayern – Erlangen 2025, hosted and organized by Medical Valley EMN e. V. IT experts, clinicians, nurses, students, founders and digital enthusiasts came together with a shared mission: shaping solutions for the future of healthcare.
This year placed a special spotlight on Automotive Health, exploring how vehicles could become active health companions. Alongside this theme, the hackathon featured challenges on AI-driven data exploration, secure access to medical devices and camera-based health monitoring.
