CAREOMICS is the start of a pioneering joint project for personalized oncology. Under the leadership of PGXperts GmbH, the TUM Klinikum rechts der Isar and the University Hospital Bonn are working together on a system that combines genetic information and artificial intelligence to provide cancer patients with tailored treatment recommendations.
PGXperts is developing special software to help doctors identify individual risk profiles at an early stage and select the most effective treatment. The project, which is funded by the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space, has a total volume of 1.89 million euros and aims to show how modern technologies can revolutionize cancer therapy in the future.
