BRIGHTskills is an Erasmus+ EU funded project that will upskill and reskill employees working in Biomanufacturing, Pharmaceuticals, Medical Technology, Digital Health and the Medical supplies industries. Running over 4 years, BRIGHTskills is a critical initiative for European health enterprises ensuring they have access to a skilled workforce capable of driving innovation, advancing competitiveness, and handling major healthcare crises. A pan-European consortium of 25 European partners, led by EIT Health, will use a comprehensive, concerted, multi-stakeholder and cross-border approach to undertake robust, continuous and forward-looking analysis of urgent and emerging skills needs in the health industry workforce. Using information from employers, BRIGHTskills will design products and courses closing the gap between labour market needs and employees’ skills gaps.

As we transition to Industry 5.0, analyzing job profiles is becoming increasingly important. By systematically documenting current, emerging, and future qualification requirements, we are establishing the groundwork for a future-proof work environment. Our goal is to prepare companies and skilled workers for change early on.
