We’re excited to invite you to take part in the FAU‑led diary study “Let My People Grow: Neurodivergent Experiences in Remote and On‑site Work.” The goal of this project is to understand how neurodivergent adults experience collaboration and communication via digital tools in the workplace.
The rapid shift to remote work during the COVID‑19 pandemic highlighted both shortcomings in corporate policy and unexpected benefits: some organizations unintentionally fostered digital environments that alleviated technostress and reduced the need for masking. Masking is a coping mechanism closely tied to psychological distress and often induced by external barriers. The objective of this initiative—and of the diary‑style questionnaire of the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg—is to develop strategies informed by and designed for neurodivergent professionals, thereby alleviating the need for masking.
Participation in the study and the dissemination of its link are strongly encouraged: To the Questionnaire
