The RHYTHM Group specializes in high-precision plastic injection molding parts, metal stamping parts, as well as touch panels, optical mirrors, and coated glass and plastic windows – all manufactured under cleanroom conditions. With production sites in Japan, Vietnam, China, and Indonesia, RHYTHM is the newest member of the Medical Valley network.
In an interview with Tsutsui Hiroschi, we learn more about the company, its expertise, and its goals within the network.

 

 Can you give us a brief overview of RHYTHM Group? What products and services do you offer?

RHYTHM Group offers a wide range of products, including optical glass and plastics with special coatings, touch panels manufactured under clean room conditions, precision plastic injection parts, metal stamping products, and board-to-board connecting terminals. We also provide EMS solutions, including PCB assembly at our factory in Vietnam.

 

Your facilities are in Japan, Vietnam, China, and Indonesia. What role does the European market play for your company?

We supply optical parts for head-up displays, touch panels, and board-to-board connecting terminals for EV and HEV power modules to Tier-1 customers in Europe, from our facilities in Japan and Vietnam.

In which industries are your products most used? Are there any exciting new application areas?

Our products are mainly used in the automotive, air conditioning, and industrial machinery sectors. We are also developing a new product: optical components consisting of precision plastic injection parts with coatings for LiDAR applications, which we hope will be used in medical equipment in the future.

 

What are your long-term goals and vision for the company? What developments are you planning for the coming years?

Our long-term goal is to establish a manufacturing site in Europe. Therefore, we are planning marketing and new business development activities to identify demand for our products and explore innovative technologies in Europe over the coming years.

 

Are you looking for specific partnerships or collaborations to further develop your technologies?

We aim to apply the quality control standards we have developed in the automotive industry to discover innovative technologies and meet the needs of the medical equipment sector.
