Digital Health Hub

The Digital Health Hub of the region around Nuremberg and Erlangen focuses on digitization in healthcare and promotes unique ideas that add value to the industry and society. For the best possible collaborations, the Digital Health Hub brings together competencies from science and business. Technologies and networks with internationally leading research institutions and medical technology companies are thus taken to the next level and supported locally.

  • WP 1: Administration and marketing
  • WP 2: Stimulation of new products, services and business models in the field of digital health
  • WP 3: Creation of infrastructures for digital health innovations (including d.hip)
  • WP 4: Internationalization and settlement of national and international startups
  • Strengthening the topic of digital health in general
  • Stimulation of innovations, start-ups and spin-offs in the field of digital health
  • Transfer of research results from science to the market and thus to the care sector
  • Strengthening of transdisciplinary collaboration between healthcare, science and business (startups, SMEs, global players)
  • Institutionalization of a local Digital Health Community
  • Increasing awareness of the Digital Health Hub Nuremberg / Erlangen as a location for innovation and startups, as well as of the companies from the Hub, both domestically and abroad through targeted marketing activities
