The Medical Valley Award is a pre-founding project of the Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy. 

• Recruitment of academic research teams in Bavaria
• Selection of 5 research teams
• Conception and organization of workshops and events to promote the Medical Valley Award teams
• Consulting and support of the Medical Valley Award teams
• Networking of the Medical Valley Award teams within the Medical Valley network

The Medical Valley EMN e. V. has the task of selecting and promoting academic research projects with spin-off potential in the medtech sector.
