Klinikum Fürth – a hospital providing specialist care and an academic teaching hospital of the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg with 13 specialist departments as well as institutes and centres – is an economically successful level 2 hospital with 771 beds and 36 beds in geriatric rehabilitation, firmly rooted in the region.
More than 2,700 dedicated staff provide the highest level of medical and technical care to 42,000 inpatients and 58,000 outpatients every year. This includes, in particular, minimally invasive, robot-assisted surgery. With the extensive structural expansion and renovation, the modern, forward-looking conversion of the Fürth hospital site has already begun as part of one of the largest hospital projects in Bavaria.
