Klinikum Nürnberg is one of the largest municipal hospitals in Europe and provides medical services to approximately 100,000 inpatients and 170,000 outpatients per year.
With its 2,233 beds at two sites – in the North and in the South of the city – and with its approximately 8,400 employees, Klinikum Nürnberg is a maximum medical care hospital. Several further hospitals located in the surrounding area of Nürnberg form part of the clinic network. Additionally, Nürnberg has been a university city since 2014. 50 medical students are trained at the Paracelsus Medical University every year. Furthermore, the center for nursing careers and the training facility cekib are part of the clinical family.
